What do I
need for IELTS Life Skills?
There are two main elements to IELTS Life Skills:
·
In the initial part, you need to ask and answer
questions about identifiable points.
·
The next part is an integrated tuning and
talking task.
·
At levels A1 and B1, you will pay attention to
the tasks played on the CD.
·
Completing this work allows you to demonstrate
your ability to pay attention to overall meaning and detail.
·
You will speak your answers, even if you can
take notes on paper while keeping an eye on the CD.
·
The topics you care about are marked on the CD.
·
Also, at the B1 level, there is a task where you
can plan a sport with other rising stars.
Why
should I pass the exam with other competitors?
IELTS Life Skills tests your ability to converse with others
in plain English. The ideal way to test these abilities is to match test-takers
of comparable ability, so you can demonstrate your ability to communicate in
English to teach and participate in conversations with others.
How long
is the test?
·
For IELTS Life Skills, you will need to attend a
short session to complete the test. The occasions to consider for each level
are:
·
IELTS Life Skills – A1 Language and Listening
16-18 minutes
·
A1 Speaking and Listening in Pakistan
What do
you need to do?
All life skills test takers will be asked to do an
assignment to be played on the CD. After completing the assignment, you will be
surveyed on overall importance and your ability to fine-tune details. You will
speak your answers, even if you can take notes on paper while keeping an eye on
the CD.
After completing this task, you will be asked to examine a
topic that is related to what you are focusing on in the CD.
For individuals taking IELTS Life Skills Level B1, these are
additional errands where you will design actions with other test takers.
How do I
take the survey?
You will be surveyed on four key language competencies:
·
Retrieve data
·
Pass data
·
Addressed transfer
Participate
in the conversation
Sometimes, during the test, you will be allowed to take
notes to set your answers. The examiner will not check your notes - only you’re
speaking and listening abilities will be flagged.
For what
reason do I pass the test with other test takers?
IELTS Life Skills tests your ability to converse with others
in ordinary English. The ideal way to test these abilities is to match you with
another competitor of comparable ability, so you can demonstrate how well you
can use English to communicate and engage in conversations with others.
